I'm sending this out kind of late, so I hope you'll help spread the word -- tell a friend, forward this along to family, print it and pass it to a stranger, whatever. We're at the bike church all winter. Yay for the bike church!

Santa Cruz Guerilla Drive-In Presents

CITY OF LOST CHILDREN

Friday February 10th, 8:00pm
at the Bike Church, 703 Pacific Ave, south of Laurel, Santa Cruz

A lyrical, strange, and hypnotic sci-fi fairy tale. With a mad scientist who kidnaps children to steal their dreams, only a brave young girl and a kindhearted circus strongman can save them. Part fantastic vision, part nightmare. A visually stunning and intensely bizarre fairy tale. Hosted by Jason!

PLUS thrilling and funny short films, subversive literature, an intermission, great company, heckling bike church kids, and a rollicking bike ride after the movie.

BRING blankets, pillows, jammies, friends, wine, & food to share for intermission. If you bring folding chairs, please situate them in the back so people sitting on the floor can see. Bring your bike for the Midnight Mystery Ride after the movie. Donations are greatly appreciated and directly support the project and the Revolutionary Garden Society who sponsors Guerilla Drive-In.

MIDNIGHT MYSTERY RIDE: After the movies, the Santa Cruz Midnight Mystery Ride will take you and your friends on a rollicking after-hours tour of the bike ways and back streets of our fair city. Where are we going? It’s a mystery!

SANTA CRUZ GUERILLA DRIVE-IN is an outdoor movie theatre under the stars that springs up in the fields and industrial wastelands. Beyond showing great movies and bringing a broad community together, part of our mission is helping reclaim public space and transforming our urban environment into the joyful playground it should be.

NEW LOCATION! The new Bike Church location is at 703 Pacific Ave, near the Saturn Cafe.

BREAKING NEWS, updated winter schedule, discussion, do-it-yourself, email list, the works.

Why are events in Santa Cruz being placed as "local events"?

Santa Cruz is over 75 miles away. This is silly and distracting when trying to find local events.
