The film documents rebuilding efforts after hurricane Katrina along with interviews of workers and residents of Biloxi, Mississippi. Mathilde offers us a pointed political overview, plus the latest news on rebuilding.

Paul Ortiz, Associate Professor of Community Studies at UCSC, will present a history of the greater New Orleans region since slavery. He will give special attention to race, class and political struggles. Paul will also tell us what Government agencies and corporations are doing now.

7 p.m., Tuesday, February 21 at the Friends Meeting House, 225 Rooney St., Santa Cruz. Free, public is welcome. For directions call 457-6797.
