Homewrecker examines the changing romantic “affair” in a post-nuclear family age and explores the emotional intensity and complexity of affairs in queer relationships and other relationships that do not involve marriage. The anthology also investigates the larger social effects of “the affair” on conventional societal values of heterosexual pair bonding and the nuclear family. Contributors also relfect on the consequences faced by those who continue to challenge heteronormative relationships.
