> On December 16th, the US House of Representatives passed the “Border Protection, Anti-Terrorism, and Illegal Immigration Control Act” - HR 4437, sponsored by Rep. James Sensenbrenner (R-WI) by a vote of 239 to 182. This bill is one of the most anti immigrant legislative proposals in recent memory.

> c Make it a felony offense to be in the U.S. without proper documentation, pushing undocumented immigrants further underground, and increasing their potential for exploitation by employers.
