To Bethlehem and Beyond...

An audio-visual report-back from Jim Haber, recently in Bethlehem for the "Celebrating Nonviolent Resistance" conference in December. He also visited Palestinians and Israelis in other parts of Israel and Palestine; with Lisa Nessan presenting some of her photos of the Israeli separation barrier and its effect on the life of Palestinians. Lisa and Jim will talk about how the ongoing struggle affects both Palestinian and Israeli people.

For more information visit or contact Jim Haber at

Jim Haber is coordinator of War Resisters League-West and is an active member of Jewish Voice for Peace. He would like to thank Jewish Voice for Peace and the friends and family-members who contributed financially or with other resources for his recent trip.

Lisa Nessan is a Jewish American activist and photographer who has lived in the West Bank much of the last three years. She supports Palestinian and Israeli efforts to end the Israeli Occupation of Palestine through nonviolent direct action.
