The City of Folsom continues to embrace the contribution of people of African ancestry, telling a broader story of multi-ethnic inclusion.

Join us for a lively evening of Black History and experience the closing of a wonderful exhibt of the first railroad west of the Mississippi, originally surveyed from California State Capitol, Sacramento to Negro Bar, CA.

Bring your camera's to capture rare images of people of African ancestrysin Gold Rush California (1845 - 1855.)
