Event: “When one-half of the world's children are growing up hungry and unhealthy, Bellamy says, (and) when whole villages are being emptied by AIDS, we've failed to deliver on the promise of childhood." Why? What have been the successes and failures of organizations working to improve the lives of the world's children? How is HIV/AIDS undoing even the successful programs? Bellamy reflects on what she has learned over 4 decades of work on behalf of children.
