Is Syria Next?
Reportback from Damascus and Analysis of the U.S. Campaign for Regime Change in Syria
The U.S., France (the former colonizer of Syria) and Britain are aggressively seeking regime change in Syria. The Bush administration, pretending to be champions of “democracy” in Lebanon and Syria, have launched a massive disinformation campaign designed to isolate and demonize the Syrian government.
This public forum will be an opportunity to hear a first-hand report from Syria, analysis of Washington’s real objectives and strategy, and implications for the entire Middle East.
Speakers:
· Richard Becker, West Coast Coordinator, A.N.S.W.E.R. Coalition, who traveled to Syria, Dec. 11-18, 2005.
· Eyad Kishawi, Free Palestine Alliance and Justice in Palestine Coalition
A discussion period will follow the presentations.
$3-10 donation (no one turned away for lack of funds)
Call to reserve free childcare.
