Israel is a tiny country. A nuclear strike on Israel would effect the area for decades. In addition to the Jews, millions of Arabs and thousands of Christians would die. The fallout would stretch to Jordan and beyond. Millions would die. Our planet would suffer.
And Israel has the capacity for a second strike. Is your hatred so fierce that you would bring the world so close to the edge just to get rid of Israel? According to the Atomic Scientists, the time is 3 minutes to midnight. Think about it -is your hatred so fierce that nuclear winter is an acceptable risk for getting rid of Israel?

That's the default rebuttal to anything critical these days. You criticize a country's terrorist govt. policies (US, Israel, ect.) and you are accused of "hate" as a way to shut you up. Guess what. Most of us see through that crap now. Doesn't work.

No-its acceptable to criticize Israel. Its acceptable to criticize Israel's government. Look at any Israeli paper. Talk to any Jew. We do it all the time. But to appalude the idea of nuclear war so "israel will to cease to exist" is truly misguided. The planet is fragile- there are millions of lives at stake. Not just Israeli- Arabs, Palestinians, Jordanians, Christians.
I just can't help but question the motivation of someone who makes a statement like this. Anyone who is willing to sacrifice so many lives for the "elimination" of Israel is not a progressive. Or a liberal. Or a leftist. Whats the word I'm thinking of.....uh....sociopath, maybe?
