Come join our monthly San Jose Bike Party rides!
We meet every last Friday of the month at 6:30pm, downtown San Jose. We follow most traffic rules (usually taking one lane of traffic to ourselves, as safety demands) and have a great time celebrating and promoting cycling as a healthful mode of transportation.
Since it is the winter, and 6:30 is after dark, *please bring lights* - after dark in SJ you're legally required to have some sort of white/yellow front light (you can rubberband or duct-tape an ordinary flashlight to your handlebars or helmet if you don't have a fancy bike light), and you must have at least a rear red reflector - though a flashing red rear light is a very good idea, and might be required by law (we're not lawyers).
We will discuss our route and riding styles before the ride to tailor our ride to everyone's tastes and desires. Come and join!
