1/21: BAMM/ASA Affiliation Meeting in Chico
Butte Alliance for Medical Marijuana is (BAMM)
The BAMM/ASA affiliation meeting is going to be open to those of us who are
sympathetic to the cause and effect of medical marijuana and are BAMM members,
friends of members, caregivers, and family.
We will be meeting on Jan. 21, 2006, at the Chico Public Library, 1:00 o'clock p.m.
This is an affiliation meeting to set up community projects; legal seminars; explore
security issues; education/information of/to the public, local constabulary, and
local politicians, etc. We will be exploring ways to support the nation-wide ASA
campaigns as well.
We need patients and supporters who are willing to be more proactive in the issue of
mmj and who can dedicate themselves to some responsibility in their own protection,
education, and safe access.
Welcome, see you there!

This is off subject from medical cannabis though relates to overall health in the Nor Cal region..
Some people are struggling with housing/environmental issues and cannot make it there. Another aspect of medical cannabis is that overall health is related to housing issues for many north state residents. For people who would like to access fair and safe housing (free of lead paint and other toxins), the Legal Services of Northern California has a Fair Housing Hotline Project covering most Nor Cal counties;
