"POTTER-MART" COMES TO SAN JOSE DECEMBER 20

In an effort to remind ourselves and others of the reason for the season, on December 20 CHAM will be participating in a street theater rendition of POTTER-MART.

POTTER-MART is an updated, twenty-first century version the holiday classic, "It's A Wonderful Life"
Mr. Potter is now chief owner of the multi-billion-dollar, global retail corporation known as Potter-Mart. He brings Potter-Mart to Bedford Falls, over the objections of George Bailey, whose Baileys Hardware Store goes out of business. Potter-Mart changes the lives of the citizens of Bedford Falls for the worse. But with the help of an angel, they get organized, and do something about it.

TIME: Gather at 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 20
PLACE: UFCW Hall, 240 South Market Street, San Jose

The production will begin at 5 p.m. and proceed to various locations on the edge of Christmas in the Park. At 5:45 or 6 p.m. we will return to the UFCW Hall for a reception with refreshments.

Sponsored by the Interfaith Council, Community Homeless Alliance Ministry, United Food and Commercial Workers Local 428, and SIREN / Comite Cesar Chavez.
