The first documentary film this evening is a new mini-documentary produced by East Bay Animal Advocates. It reveals that Foster Farms violates animal cruelty laws, performs unfair labor practices and misleads the public. Each week Foster Farms, California’s largest poultry producer, slaughters five million chickens for food. The film features interviews with Foster Farms employees and scenes of animal cruelty at Foster Farms in California. http://www.fosterfacts.net
The second documentary of the evening is produced by Compassion Over Killing. It exposes the broiler industry with its disregard for animal welfare. It features investigative footage from hatching and factory-farm life to slaughter and packaging. http://www.chickenindustry.com
Before and after the film, everyone's invited to indulge in our Humanist Coffee House.
The Film is FREE but $5 donations are accepted.
