Masked in the street denouncing the electoral fraud and capitalism

--Perhaps badly translated from Hommodolars (Autonomous Collective for Counter-Information), Chile, November 28, 2005--

Yesterday, a group of 30 masked demonstrators departed from the Juan Gomez Millas campus of the University of Chile [Santiago] with the intention of protesting against the elections that are approaching in December. Molotovs [firebombs] and stones were thrown against the police for 40 minutes, without arrests or injuries. Propaganda was spread, calling for non-participation in the electoral circus and for energetic protest against this brutal system that maintains alienation and submission.

Interrupting daily passivity in a direct way to visibly refuse the form that makes us believe it is the only way to reappropriate our lives.

The only forms not under the control of the bosses' institutions which patch-up and vitalize capital are mobilization, organization and protest. There is much work left to do here beyond this contingency.
