Homeless People and Religious Leaders to Sleep Out at City Hall
Religious leaders and concerned San Franciscans will join homeless people to brave the cold this Thursday, spending the night out in front of City Hall to highlight the coming cold months that will affect the thousands of people citywide currently living without a home.
Organized by Religious Witness with Homeless People, the event will begin at 8pm, will occur rain or shine, and welcomes anyone who wants to attend. Earlier in the evening, the Hospitality House and The Shooting Gallery will celebrate the Urban Art of the Tenderloin at a benefit for the their Community Arts Program, San Francisco's only free of charge fine arts studio for homeless and poor Tenderloin artists. Paintings by neighborhood artists will be on sale at the event, which will take place at 6pm at Art for the House, 839 Larkin.
