This is a beautiful start not only in the fiight to save Tookie's life 3 weeks before the capitalist class plans to murder a human being with our tax dollars as a means of terrorizing the working class, the primary purpose of the death penalty, but also to put an end to the death penalty and prisons. Any system that is not promoting rehabilitation is a complete waste of our tax dollars and exists solely to terrorize the workingclass.

Judging from the report in the capitalist press, Nazi Schwarzenegger had better grant clemency. He just received his well-deserved defeat from labor on November 8, and he is about to receive a lesson that all politicians learn sooner or later, namely that the black community is the locomotive of American history, and that locomotive has started its engines in demanding top quality, free education for all and in the movement to abolish the death penalty and prisons. Tookie is obviously very intelligent and committed to leading the workingclass communities away from the drug wars perpetrated by the captialist class to keep people divided, fighting each other, instead of putting an end to capitalism.

It would be great if we could organize a general strike for Monday, December 12. At the very least, we need an ongoing vigil there and rallies in the workingclass communities of the Bay Area.

Tookie Williams should libve. To hold hate in your heart is human but to forgive is divine. The terrible things thaat Tookie did are in his past and should be forgiven. Besides its easy to see that for the future of preventing gang violence Tookie is better off alive then dead, save Tookie.

I think it's quite ridiculous that Govenernor Arnold Schwarzenegger has based his decision on politics. It shows that he has no compassion for the fellow human being and only cares about him self and how he looks to a bunch of politician who will probably stabb him in the back come election time again. I believe in my heart that Tookie is an innocent man who has turned his life around. I am very disappointed in the Goverenernor's decision and I hope that he can rest easy with his decidion. Only the Lord above knows the real truth but all I see in front of me is a changed man with a caring heart. Society is so easy to lock our black men up and put them in the system and make it hard for them to make something out of their lifes. I am praying for Tookie and I know that once he leaves this earth he will be in a much better place

It's funny how the law says that it is a crime to kill another human being, but at the same time the people who are suposse up hold the law are the same ones who are breaking it. The law that "Thou shalt not kill". The only person to my knowledge that really has the right and the authority to do so is the same person that gave us life, God. So all of this has just been made out to be a double standard.

I don't have an answer or opinion on the debate of Stanley Williams deserving the death penalty nor do I know if it is just and permissible in our Heavenly Father's eyes and heart to execute him. All I know is what matter most. What matters most is where he chose his soul to dwell for all eternity. The morning Stanley "Tookie" Williams was executed, I stayed awake in bed and prayed for his soul, for the pastor or priest who had the opportunity to witness to him in his final moments, I prayed for his family, and for the families of the victims. Life on earth is meerly seconds compaired to eternity. We, and so did Stanley, have the choice of where our soul is to be in the afterlife. I've made my choice to dwell in the house of the Lord gloriously forever, I only hope Tookie did the same. We still have the choice, so make it. That is what matters most!!!

I want to start off saying, I do believe in the death penalty for murder, But only when you know beyond a shadow of a doubt that some one did do the crime, And In Tookie's case, I cant say that anyone knows for sure he did what he was acussed of, If it was up tp me I would have granted clemency,,And to the family of Tookie,Please dont be sad, Because If in his heart, He made his peace with God,I am sure God has a new angel.

Just was on the site and very sorry that we have people in high office that would say kill another human i wonder if it was a relative of his would it be that way. I do know this that we all Govenors, Presidents, senators, you can go on and on Will stand before The Judge (GOD) one day and give an account of his life.We have to remember that Jesus died for our sins and we should stop the sin business. I really believe Tookie shouldn't had died. They did not have proof that he killed anybody or their weren't any witnesses. The judge should have gave him a second chance, everyone desires a another chance. If he did do the crime, then they should let God take care of it. He will be judge, whether he's allow to enter into the gates of heaven. Arnold is going to regret what he done, he has blood on his hands.

Arnold Schwarzenegger, muito me decepcionei com você por haver negado clemencia da pena de morte a uma pessoa arrependida, com outros princípios opostos aos que o levaram para a prisão, com uma profissão bem sucedida de escritor, indicado ao prêmio de literatura infantil e ao prêmio Nobel da Paz, e evidentemente ressocializável. Imagino que tenha feito isso talvez pensando em sua imagem perante uma parte da sociedade hipócrita e responsável pelas suas próprias mazelas, agindo dessa forma contra a única Lei perfeita a do Deus Todo Poderoso!
Sinceramente, em sua posição como governador da California, não precisaria coadunar com esse crime, pena que você agora não pode mais voltar atrás da sua decisão, para mim você amarelou, diria que foi até um borra calças, preferiu o falso moralismo talvez até racista e discriminatório das classes sociais, a hipocrisia , do que seguir os verdadeiros ensinamentos do Nosso Senhor Jesus Cristo. ... Perdoai setenta vezes setenta...., ....Quem nunca pecou atire a primeira pedra...., com certeza você aprendeu a oração do Pai Nosso, constante da mesma Bíblia sobre a qual você jurou quando assumiu o cargo de governador da Califórina, talvez a sua própria mãe tenha procurado lhe ensinar. Pena! Mas pena, para você mesmo, tomara que a misericórdia que você deixou de ter, negando clemência, não lhe seja negada quando Deus for julgá-lo, quando você estiver diante Dele, que não liga para aparência, não faz distinção de raça, cor, status ou classe social, mas sim somente entre os que o amam e amam os seus ensinamentos e o aceitam e se arrependem em espírito e em verdade e entre os que os não amam ou inutilmente não o reconhecem. Aliás, foi para isso que Deus enviou seu filho para o meio de nós, por amor, para nos dar misericórdia, clemência, para conceder a sua vida pela dos que mesmo pecadores arrependidos o aceitarem como seu legítimo, único e suficiente salvador, essa foi a grande mensagem de Deus Pai, do Espírito Santo e de Jesus para nós. Se você me desagradou que sou um simples humano, imagino como não deve ter desagradado a Deus, o Pai do amor e da misericórdia, o implementador da regeneração e restauração dos humanos.
Justamente você que se elegeu com a fama de força e violência que propagou em seus filmes, ao abdicar da clemência tomou o lugar de Deus para julgar o arrependimento, e para finalmente corroborar com a morte premeditada de uma pessoa, que se em uma circunstância possa haver errado e abraçado a mesma violência professada e aplaudida pelos tolos, em outra efetivamente demonstrou com atitudes positivas o seu arrependimento.
Pena para a sociedade que perdeu um forte militante contra a violência, pena para Stanlei Tookie Williams que perdeu a vida, pena para você que manchou sua imagem em âmbito mundial, mas não pense que isso é o pior que poderia lhe acontecer, se eu fosse você, me arrependeria agora, e desde já clamaria de joelhos ao Senhor Rei da Glória, pelo Seu perdão.
Posso dizer que para mim, como ator, ou melhor pelo gênero de filmes que você fez, nunca foi tão importante, mas como pessoa você é para mim e para Deus! E para os que o elegeram como governador você também é, para os que o investiram no cargo em que você poderia haver feito a verdadeira justiça, pena que perdeu esta oportunidade.
Fico com a tristeza de saber que se outra fosse a sua atitude Arnold, justiceiro dos filmes violentos, Governador da Califórnia, tudo seria bem melhor e correto, deixo o meus pesares ao povo dos Estados Unidos da América, em especial aos jovens, pela perda, de não mais um assassino, mas sim de um escritor e pacifista.
Observei nesse caso específico a fraqueza ou talvez covardia e torpeza desmedidos de determinados políticos americanos, que agiram como barbaros, com visões simplistas demais para resolverem as reais necessidades da sociedade.
Consigno nesta carta, com fundamento nos ensinamentos cristãos, como exercício do meu direito de livre expressão, meu repúdio a esse crime em particular e ao vulgarismo da instituição do assassinato premeditado como forma de melhorar a vida social, pensem bem autoridades americanas, o que vale mais a promoção pessoal, satisfazer a estupidez ou seguirem as Leis de Deus! Mas de que qualquer outra coisa vocês precisam e dependem Dele e um dia Ele cobrará isso de vocês!
