The World is a Stage is a gala fashion show and dinner (a "must see" charity extravaganza) in the beautiful Gerald Simon Theater of Laguna Honda Hospital on Saturday, Decemer 3, at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are only $25.

It features a variety of creative designers, models, and styles, such as High Fashion, Hip Hop, Men on the Move, African, Teen Scene, Silver Foxes, and Bad Girls. Adding excitement will be the "Bookman Sliders", D.J. Felton Williams, Monica Obleton's MTM, Charity Walden dancing, vendors with various iterms, a raffle, a door prize, Supervisor Fiona Ma and other celebrities! Barbara Davis and Danielle Caldwell were consultants.

This crucial fundaiser is being produced by Myrna Lim, Helen Dilworth, and the Southwest Community Corporation, a public service board of directors charged with the administration of the I.T. Bookman Community Center, a 501(c) (3) non-profit community service venue in the Ingleside district of San Francisco. At the center are many services, such as counseling for "at risk" youth, academic tutoring, health services, job training and placement, feeding programs for families, activities and resources for seniors and adults. The I.T. Bookman Center is located at 446 Randolph Street at Arch, by the M streetcar tracks south of Stonestown (19th Avenue south becomes Randolph Street).
