Protest John Yoo at Richmond Berkeley JCC Tonight!
"The lead author, John Yoo, a conservative law professor and expert on international law who was at the time deputy assistant attorney general in the office, also crafted a series of related memos—including one putting a highly restrictive interpretation on an international torture convention—that became the legal framework for many of the Bush administration’s post-9/11 policies. Yoo also coauthored another OLC memo entitled “Possible Habeas Jurisdiction Over Aliens Held in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba,” that concluded that U.S. courts could not review the treatment of prisoners at the base."

He was a miserable failure and was smashed in his extreme-right ideals and their incosistencies with the law.
I hope some resourceful anti-torture activist will give Yoo his due, such as a "pie" greeting. That'll remind the torture apologist as well as the audience that torture supporters cannot continue to justify their criminal "advice" without consequences. Actually, that pie greeting to Yoo will be much milder than the 'greetings' Yoo's advice advocate for the prisoners incarcerated by U.S. Imperial invaders all around the Globe.
