Hayes Valley Convergence re: Community Disaster Resp & World Cant Wait March

Hayes Valley Neighbors will meet to discuss how to respond to an emergency before marching to Civic Center

Hayes Valley/Lower Haight/Alamo Square residents:
10:00 am Meet to talk about Neighborhood Organizing
12:00 pm March to Civic Center to Join World Can’t Wait events.

Meet Up to join WORLD CAN'T WAIT Nov. 2 event at the Hayes Valley Green and to discuss plans to develop a neighborhood emergency response team to deal with protecting our neighborhood in the event of an emergency...exactly what we have here:

We can prepare for emergencies together, including how to handle this political emergency through:
* building community-based alternatives to the "tapeworm economy" (see http://www.solari.com)
* being prepared in case an earthquake or other natural disaster hits us since we know now we can't count on the government to help us. Creatingcommunity-based solutions that leave us self-sufficient is political.
* your other ideas of effective strategies that you are READY TO TAKE ACTION on with your neighbors

Come join us or create your own approach. Visit http://www.worldcantwait.org/ for downloadable materials to help spread the word.
