Help Jerry “Never Had a Real Job” Brown – ATTEND HIS “NOT WE THE PEOPLE” $1,000 FUNDRAISER

by ntuit
For $1,000 Join Jerry & his celebrity friends as they raise money so that "WE THE PEOPLE" can continue paying for Jerry's life on the public dole
If you are one of “we the people” and have a $1,000 to give up, you can join celebrities, business people and socially elite to whom $1,000 is just a drop in the bucket – to help fund the campaign of Jerry Brown for Attorney General. Jerry “Never Had a Real Job” Brown will get together with “his” people (the rich and famous) at Tosca Café in San Francisco. Unfortunately, most of us, the people who have funded Jerry’s lifetime on the public dole, don’t have the $1,000 laying around to attend. They probably wouldn’t like us there anyway. I know they won’t like it when we show up at the polls to end Jerry’s lifetime of dabbling with our public policy. Its time to send this prince back to the zen meditation retreat center!!!

More Details:

SF Chronicle, Matier & Ross – Monday, October 31, 2005 - Blue bayou redux: Singer Linda Ronstadt is back in Oakland Mayor Jerry Brown's life -- joining with actor Sean Penn as a special guest for a $1,000-a-head fundraiser planned for Tuesday at Tosca Cafe in San Francisco to benefit Jerry's run for state attorney general.
The event is being co-chaired by San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom, Tosca's Jeannette Etheredge and Brown's new bride and campaign manager, Anne Gust Brown.
As for Jerry's old flame turning out to help headline the event -- the only question seems to be, why not?
We're told Ronstadt has been dividing her time between homes in Arizona and San Francisco, and may contemplating a permanent move here.
No word yet on how many guests have RSVP'd for the cocktail gathering, but Gust Brown assures us, "It's a hot ticket.''
