Yom al-Quds Means Jihad: Oppression will be Answered with War.

by al-Masakin
PORTLAND, Oct. 28—(al-Masakin) Millions of people across the world will take to the streets today, Jerusalem International Day—the last Friday in the month of Ramadan—in preparation for the one final onslaught against the Zionist entity for the liberation of Palestine and the holy city of Quds (Jerusalem). An onslaught, a war, a Holy war, and a jihad, a jihad that is coming as surely as night turns into day until the End of Days. An event as certain as the Holy Koran is the word of God.

We have gathered here today to prepare ourselves and to make the intention, both for ourselves and for the Muslim Umma as a whole, to make jihad against the fascist genocidal apartheid dictatorship “Israel,” to combat Zionism, neo-colonialism, and imperialism. Today we Muslims make the intention to fight this war and affirm that this is a fight unto death and that our battle cry is la ilaha ilallah.

On this day, the last Friday of Ramadan, do we renew our intention to make war on the Zionist entity and declare unequivocally that the path to liberation is jihad and martyrdom. On this day Muslims hasten to make the shahadda. There is no God but the One God! And Muhammad was His last and final messenger. Muhammad rasulallah (p.b.u.h.) was the seal of the prophets. There will never be another prophet of God until the Judgment Day. On the Judgment Day we will all stand before Allah and be judged according to our deeds. Believe it, or believe it not! This day is coming. Muslims, then, make this jihad to fulfill our obligation to combat oppression. Combating oppression includes defending the Holy religion, defending its Holy places, defending the furthest mosque—masjid al-Aqsa—and defending the Holy city—al-Quds.

This jihad is a jihad not only for the liberation of the land and people of Palestine; it is jihad for the religious freedom of the Muslim people, it is a jihad against the criminal acts of the Zionist entity and of US imperialism—their crimes against humanity, their oppression of our people, indeed their oppression of all peoples.

The month of Ramadan has strengthened our collective wills and solidified our intentions. It proves to every Muslim that we can endure anything: war, famine, or natural disaster. The Muslims are strong and nothing will deter us.

Yom al-Quds demands shahadda. Who will make this jihad? Who will defend the Holy city? Who is seeking martyrdom?

We are not afraid. Leave our lands. Free our people. Or suffer the consequences. Takbir!

> oppression of all peoples.

Does this include the people oppressed in Muslim countries. The Jews are already almost all ethnically cleansed but Christians are presently at risk, particularly in Iraq and the Palestinian Territories. The Copts of Egypt, the Druze of Syria, the Zoroastrians of Iran, the Armenians, the Berbers etc. etc. are all currently being oppressed to gretter or lesser deadly degrees.

The eternal calls for eternal war in the "Daar El Haarb" will forever be met with resistance. We will not lie down and we will not allow ourselves to be Dhimmi ever again.

Peace to the Islamic World
Peace to the Christian World
Peace to Israel and the Jewish World
Peace to India and the Hindu World
Peace to the whole world.

Say no shahada
Say no to Jihad
Say no to eternal war
by Damn right! get 'em all!
All fundamentalist whackjobs--Get 'em all!!! The Jewish, Muslim, Christian, ect. whackjobs should all be burnt alive. They are the problem with the world today.

Tehran Times Political Desk

TEHRAN, Oct. 26 – (Tehran Times) “The significance of Palestine and Qods for the Islamic world as well as their different political, religious, and intellectual dimensions are the most important message the late Imam Khomeini tried to deliver to the world,” said Dr. Ali Jarbawi, a professor at Birzeit University in Nablus.
On the threshold of Qods Day, he told the Mehr News Agency that uniting the endeavors of various Islamic movements within a single framework and guiding them toward a specific target are some of the objectives of the Qods Day demonstrations.

He went on to say that working for Islamic unity is the best way to help the Palestinian struggle since it can create a unique strategy for the liberation of Palestinian territories.

On the efforts of some Arab and Islamic countries to establish relations with the Zionist regime, he said that these measures would definitely have a negative impact on the Palestinian struggle, adding that the Israelis do not deserve these privileges while they are still violating the fundamental rights of the Palestinians.
Meanwhile the secretary general of Egypt’s Islamic Amal Party, Magdi Hussein, told MNA that Qods Day has empowered Palestinians in their struggle, adding that one can refer to Qods Day as the symbol of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s support for the innocent Palestinians.
He also said that no one can separate the achievements of the Lebanese and Palestinian resistances from the stances of the late Imam Khomeini, noting that Qods Day is the Islamic Republic’s way to confront global pressure.
An official of the Islamic Jihad movement of Palestine also told the MNA that Imam Khomeini’s initiative in naming the last Friday of Ramadan Qods Day placed special emphasis on the significance of the Palestine issue.
Khaled al-Batash, the spokesman for Islamic Jihad in Gaza, stated that the Palestinian nation is an Arab-Islamic country, the Islamic Republic of Iran is part of the Islamic world, and the Palestinians agree

with the position of the late Imam Khomeini, who said that all Muslims around the world should participate in Qods Day demonstrations for the liberation of Holy Qods. The Iranian Student News Agency (ISNA) also asked the views of some Iranian political activists on the Qods Day. Excerpts of the interviews follow:
Majid Ansari, a member of the central council of the Assembly of Combatant Clerics, stated that Qods Day injects new blood to the veins of the Palestinian people in their struggle against the Zionist regime.
The resistance by the Palestinian nation has proven that the Zionists are facing the entire Islamic world, Ansari said.
Leading political activist and ACC member Hadi Khamenei noted that the cultural and logical principles for supporting the oppressed people of Palestine should be boosted among the people and different political parties every day since the fate of the Iranians is dependent on the fate of the Palestinians.
Kamaleddin Shahriari, a member of the Islamic Society of Engineers, noted that the Zionists’ success in achieving their aims will be detrimental to all Muslim countries so the defense of Palestine means the defense of Iran.
Another ACC member Razavi Yazdi said that Judaism, as a divine religion, is worthy of respect but the Zionists with their racist ideas believe that they should rule over the entire world and are backed by the United States.
He went on to say that resistance against Zionism is the only way for the Islamic community to stay alive and that the core of this resistance is to support Qods.
The Managing Director of the Sharq daily Mehdi Rahmanian maintained that keeping Qods Day alive will convey the call of the oppressed Palestinian people to the world.
“If it is not influential in liberating Qods in the short run, it will definitely be influential in the long run,” he added.
A member of the reformist Islamic Iran Participation Party, Fatemeh Rakeii, said that the Islamic world should reach a consensus on the issue of Palestine in order to resolve it.
She noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran has made efforts to solve the issue of the Palestinians and merely holding demonstrations will not be helpful in this regard.
All the reformists of the Islamic world should try to take practical steps by holding serious negotiations, she observed.
Meanwhile, delivering a speech at the Ali-ibne-Abitaleb school, prominent cleric Ayatollah Makarem Shirazi called on the Iranian nation on Wednesday to participate in demonstrations at the Qods Day in an attempt to terrify Israel and to keep the name of Qods alive.
He noted that the occupation of Qods should not be forgotten, adding that everyone should view protesting against Zionism as an act of worship.
“One of the great initiatives of the late founder of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Khomeini, was to name the last Friday of Ramadan Qods Day, the day when Muslims from around the world voice their dissent toward Israel.”
Secretary General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Seyyed Hassan Nasrallah also issued a statement on Wednesday saying that leaders of Islamic states should put fight against the Zionists high on their agenda.
In his statement addressed to a conference in Tehran entitled “The World without Zionism”, Nasrallah noted that with Palestine wiped out of minds no one will ever find a safe haven or see his country flourish but will witness the achievements of the Islamic Ummah diminish.
“All active forces in Lebanon, Palestine, Islamic Iran and Syria will remain at the arrowhead of confrontations with U.S. plans in the Middle East,” part of the statement read.
In another statement addressed to the conference, Khaled Meshaal, head of the political office of the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement Hamas, noted that today the Islamic nation feels ready to confront Zionism and the United States.
“Zionism is a colonial movement with expansionistic policies aimed to destroy the ideological, political and cultural foundations of Islam,” read the statement.

Three girls have been beheaded and another badly injured as they walked to a Christian school in Indonesia.

Its frightening yes, but it is what we are up against. And pretending it doesn't exist won't help us. We need to be brave and strong. We need to be unified. We need to stand together. Consider it a mobilization cry for freedom loving people everywhere.

...if they really ARE out to get you! And the above post leaves no gray area. This is an Islamic movement whose goal is to destroy the state of Israel, and kill or expell all the Jews there. While this may be a shock for some, its not for the Israelis. They have been dealing with Arab attempts to annihilate them since before 1948.

The Palestinian people bear the majority of the responsibility for the continued violence. At least the Palestinians who support Hamas, Islamic Jihad, and Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigade. And the Palestinian mothers who let their children know how proud they would be if they grew up to be a suicide bomber. Also the Palestinian teachers who put up posters to "Martyrs" against Israel in their classrooms, and the Palestinian Imams who preach Friday sermons calling for death to the Jews. And the Palestinian historians who invent a history they prefer would have happened and have no respect for decent scholarship. And especially the Palestinian leaders who condemn suicide bombings to the Western press in English, while praising the "holy martyrs" in Arabic. Yes, even the boys who pick up rocks and throw them at "the Jews" are part of the problem.

It is up to the Palestinian people to expunge these elements from their society. And its up to Northern California peace activists to distance themselves from genocidal calls such as above which openly call for the destruction of the ONLY Jewish State in the world and for the second Jewish holocaust.
