The League of Pissed Off Voters is a youth political organization whose goal is to engage, train and motivate young people to become engaged in the political process. This event takes place on a very important Friday, the Friday before November’s Special Election. The League’s goal at this event is to raise awareness about the November 8th election and to increase voter turn out. We, the League, will be distributing our voter guide in which we explain each proposition on the Special Election Ballot and our positions. We will also have ally organizations there as co-sponsors, to distribute their materials and to create webs of solidarity to increase unity in our cause to create a more just world. This party is also a way to reach out and support local artists and young people who want to gain exposure to a broader audience.
