San Francisco is hosting the annual Amnesty International Regional Conference!

The theme this year "A Turning Point in Human Rights" will feature a range of speakers and workshops, a few of which include:

-Panel discussion and session on The War on Terror and Human Rights Abuses

-Dolores Huerta: founder of United Farm Workers

-Rebiya Kadeer: former Amnesty Prisoner of Conscience in China (released in 2005)

-Denounce Torture! workshop

-Bonfire! Poetry Slam! Documentary Screenings!
