They guy in the photo holding a sign saying he's ashamed to be a Republican is Jeb Eddy. Do a Google search and you will see that he's positively not a Republican, unless of course you have a long history of contributions to Democrats and belong to "progressive" organizations that would never associate with conservatives or vice versa.

Here's my question, it's serious and it deserves a legitimate answer, "Why does he make that claim when Ebby is not a Republican?"

I'm interested in any response that seriously addresses the question.

He discussed his original reasons for registering republican, and his reasons were based on 'pre-neocon' values: i.e. conservatism re: the environment and fiscal policy, also the old republican guard had a very different view of foreign intervention. He is disillusioned with the extremism that has grown in the republican party and feels that he may be able to do some good by remaining registered and stating his shame. More power to him!
