On Sunday, November 20, 2005 experience insights and the taste of Shangri La at the 20th annual presentation of Tibet Day, hosted by Bay Area Friends of Tibet at the Golden Gate Club at the Presidio of San Francisco.

Vision of Tibet, Tibet Day 2005, will also include delicious Tibetan food; hundreds of beautiful arts and crafts; Tibetan, Vietnamese, Burmese, & Mongolian Dancers cultural performances and musical offerings by RIGPA. Enjoy an opportunity to discover The Dalai Lama Foundation's study circles, panel discussion on human rights and democracy in Asia;

Recently releases Tibet-related films such as “Voices in Exile” and Women of Tibet will also be screened along with many other activities.

A silent auction will be held with proceeds going towards the development of Capitol City Tibetan High School, the first and only Tibetan high school to serve the people of Golok, Tibet.

The Bay Area is home to the third largest Tibetan community in the U.S.

This one-day celebration provides the public an opportunity to learn about the beautiful and intriguing culture of Tibet, a culture struggling to survive in exile. Tibetans young and old will present aspects of their ancient heritage.
