This is a special benefit party to help in sending two veggie-oil powered busses full of volunteers and supplies to the disaster zone of the Gulf Coast. Though you may have passively thought this situation is 'over' ("gosh, it's been a month and i haven't seen it in the news!"), there is still a massive amount of need for relief assistance. There are areas that have not recieved any aid, and The Red Cross
has far-less-than-adequete resources available, despite their shockingly large budget. Or maybe ya think the well-funded police force, or Halliburton, or Blackwater Security are going out of their way to bring appropriate resources or medical attention to the many people in serious need...? Surprise, they aren't. This is a grass roots effort for people that give a shit. This party matters and your donation goes to direct action. Please support it.
