Want the Halloween party without being haunted by a hangover?
Want to dance your ass off while helping victims of Hurricane Katrina?

Come to Barefoot Boogie’s Halloween Party – Sunday, October 30, 8pm to midnight. The theme is Mardi Gras, with prizes for the best costumes, so think wild and wacky…sexy and silly…kings and queens…alligators and crawfish. It’s a smoke-free, alcohol-free, scent-free, freestyle dance party with a wide variety of deejayed music to keep you movin’ and groovin’, four different deejays spinning world to funk to blues to house, and all the profits will go to the Brother’s Brother Foundation, a non-profit organization which is working to bring food, medical, and housing aid to victims of Hurricane Katrina. The event is co-sponsored by the Northern California Dance Collective (501C3), the folks who bring you Dance Camp every summer.

It’s all happening at the Rhythm & Motion Dance Center, 1133 Mission Street, between 7th and 8th Streets, San Francisco. 415-820-1452, sfbarefootboogie.com.
