Tell Sutter Health to "Just Say Yes" and end the CPMC hospital strike!
More than 800 CPMC caregivers are walking the picket lines. The strike is entering its 4th week, and still there's no end in sight. Won't Sutter Health "Just Say Yes?"

On August 28, a Federal Mediator issued a compromise to SEIU-UHW and Sutter CPMC as a settlement of the issues to avoid a strike – a compromise proposal that would establish the same quality of care standards that are currently in place at hospitals across California.
The UHW Bargaining Team accepted the compromise. So initially did Sutter CPMC, only to backtrack and reneg on their acceptance.
All we’re asking for Sutter CPMC to do is accept the Federal Mediator’s neutral proposal – accepting standards hospitals across California already have in place – and end this strike.
Please join our online grassroots movement, urging the Sutter CPMC Board to "Just Say Yes" to the Federal Mediator's proposal. Sign our online petition at

Senator Barbara Boxer, Rep. Nancy Pelosi, Mayor Gavin Newsom, Mayor Jerry Brown, and a whole host of other political and community leaders are standing with the striking caregivers. For the good of the workers, patients, and community who are impacted by the strike, we’re trying to build online support to end the strike and urge Sutter to “Just Say Yes.”
