Film showing and discussion in Ceres CA, at Whitemore Park, 5pm. Free food and literature.
This Friday, September 30th, in Ceres, at 5pm! There will be a free film showing of the "Fourth World War", at Whitemore Park, on Magnolia and Sutter Street. The film talks about resistance to neo-liberalism, and capitalism. We will also be having a discussion about the recent communiques that are being sent out by the EZLN/Zapatistas from Chiapas Mexico. Free food and literature will be provided.

everything seems to be going well in the film, The Fourth World War.
until we get to talking about Mexico.
This movie was made about 3 years into the Fox government and the film goes on to say/imply that thigns are getting better in Mexico now that the PRI is gone and Fox is here. I think this part is towards the end of the film.
Just watch closely.
The social and environmental conditions in Mexico are getting worse and worse everyday.

I don't get that at all, the film basically touches on the Zapatistas breifly, I hardly see any mention of Fox at all.

I think this is wonderful. We need more things like this. So what if it is a tiny bit outdated - these guys are exposing truth where none seems to have existed previously - Keep up the Good Work!
