Bomb Placed Under Car Explodes East of Lebanese Capital Beirut, Wounding a Prominent Journalist

Sep. 25, 2005 - A bomb placed under a car exploded east of the Lebanese capital Beirut Sunday, wounding a prominent journalist, Lebanese security officials said.
The bomb exploded near the Christian city of Jounieh, northeast of Beirut.
The private Lebanese Broadcasting Corp. said the bomb targeted the car of prominent journalist May Chidiac, who works at the station.
