Rally to demand free Mumia Abu-Jamal! Hands off Lynne Stewart and Assata Shakur! The Partisan Defense Committee urges you to join us for a rally to fight government repression and the “war on terror” which targets blacks, immigrants, labor and leftists. We call on you to come out in defense of Lynne Stewart (sentencing date Oct. 21), Mumia Abu-Jamal and Assata Shakur. Their fight is a fight for us all.
Speakers include Robert Bryan, lead counsel for Mumia Abu-Jamal, Don Cane of the Labor Black League for Social Defense, Jack Heyman of ILWU Local 10, and Brian McKeever V.P. of AMFA Local 9*. A video of Lynne Stewart's presentation at the September 15th rally in New York will be shown.
