Free Tyrell Taylor Task Force, ACTION ALERT

I've searched for this news story and don't find any link except Indy Bay. Can someone post a link to any newspaper that has a story about this? I just want to hear the whole story of what transpired.

Something tells me we're not hearing the whole story here. I doubt the police randomly started shooting at someone. What's the rest of the story?

It has been 12 days since the shooting and nothing whatsoever in the corporate press.

I sent a press release last night about tomorrow court hearing for Tyrell at 9 am, 850 Bryant Dept. 22 Let's see if they will care to show up.

Reverend Ted Frazier will lead us into prayers on the steps of the Hall of Justice after the hearing.

If you remember, neither the infamous MLK PD assault on AfriKan American Children 3 years ago nor the brutaization of Thurdgood Marshall High School students was covered by corporate media for months. Are we surprised?

I support that community even if he did have a gun and was shooting at the police. I am a transgender person who has been discriminated and taunted by police on a weekly basis. (i am not a prostitute, but live in the ghetto)
Every time they respond to the building I live in they are quite scary.
They are bossy, disrespectful, guns drawn and never never address me with whatever I pronoun I prefer. The cops are here to protect and to serve and they are NOT doing that. Newsom or Fong never respond to the public with press conferences over the violence the police incur to the community which tells me they have something to hide.
Do we want the future set up where cops rule the land?
Its time to stand up and fight back.

abot a year ago ,on the ''22' bus line in santa clara near san jose, a mexican looking man was pulverized had his head slammed into bus window 5 times was punched 10 timesw and pushed off the bus by a tall anglo looking man.the ''down and out '' lokking mexican man just mumbled something like a lot of people do,nothing disruptive at all.i witnessed the whole incident.when the bus driver called police ,the cops assumed the terrorized short statured man was the ''cause'' of the trouble.5 (five) big tall strong cops immediately dogpiled the man ,crushed this little man to the ground.the anglo irish looking assaulter walked away free.no charges.apparently in this post ''terror attack'' world, if you are not ''mainstream'' looking you are ripe for attack from ANYONE that looks ''all american''!

So what happened at today's hearing? There was nothing on KPFA and there is still nothing on this website. Did they drop the charges? Is Taylor at SF General now? Is there a new hearing date? Was he charged and did he make bail? Is more bail money needed? We are all very concerned at sympathetic to Tyrell Taylor. We, the residents of San Francisco, want the police terror to stop now. The Taylor family has our sympathy and support.

Who elected YOU to speak for all the residents of SF? If you want to support a gun toting thug who was going to kill someone, probably another young black male, that's your business. But don't say that you speak for all of us...you are nowhere near intellignet enough to speak for the majority of us who don't buy in to your bull shit.

I realize my posts make you uncomfortable because you can not answer my questions nor dispel my facts, so let me take a moment to correct you on a few things (off topic).
I have always used "John Q Public", "JQP", and maybe "John Q Citizen" (on your site). I am not "top brass" in SFPD. I'm not sure I have ever stated which police department I work for. Even if I did work for SFPD, I have never made any statements on behalf of that Department. I have never posted on "company time" as you suggested (by the way, what is my schedule?) I have never had a conversation with Fong, so how could she tell me to stop posting? I do have the same First Amendment rights as everyone else. The only reason I stopped posting on your site is because it went down (had nothing to do with you whining to Fong). Like I told you before, as long as you continue to publicly post lies, I will be there to correct them. I generally do not resort to name calling and do not post racist material. As you see those types of posts are left on this site; my posts are generally deleted because I posts facts and ask tough questions. This site has every right to delete my posts but if find it amusing that they try to call themselves a "media" site. This site is strictly entertainment. I realize most people here are scared of a healthy debate and the site censors cater to that, but what fun is preaching to the choir?
You probably won't see this post (they only last a few minutes), but if you do, feel free to pass it on to Fong and suggest whatever action she should take, either way it doesn’t effect me.
