PD SHOOTING OF 17 yr TYRELL TAYLOR IN SF Bayview Hunters Point

by Idriss Stelley Foundation (iolmisha [at] cs.com)
Tyrell Taylor, shot 5 times in the back by SFPD last Friday on Harbor Road in SF Bayview Hunters Point, who miraculously survived the attempted murder, was one of the children savagedly brutalized by the police on Kiska Road in SF Bayview Hunters Point 3 years ago during the infamous MLK incident.

The attempted assassination of young Tyrell is concommittent to upcoming review by SF Police Commission of MLK case .....
On Friday morning 9-10-05, The "Peace Zone" event organized by Mattie Scott from the SF Healing circle (Support Group for Families of Victims of Violent Crimes) in front of City Hall was hardly taking off when one of the participants recieved an shocking phone call, and the news spread like fire all throughout the rally...

Tyrell Taylor, 17 yr. Afrikan American, has just been shot in the back 5 times by SFPD. The Sister, devastated, recounts: ":He was taken to General Hospital, he is still alive... The hill is full of police, the Feds came down, the city helicopter... The cops are going all over into people's houses interrogating witnesses... They got another kid in custody who saw it all...We gotta get busy!"

Shock and horror spreads through the crowd.

Tyrell Taylor, who miraculously survived the attempted murder, was one of the children (then 14 yr.) savagely brutalized by the police on Kiska Road in SF Bayview Hunters Point 3 years ago during the infamous MLK incident.

The attempted assassination of young Tyrell is concomitant to upcoming review by SF Police Commission of MLK case .....

Sadly but not surprisingly the scandal of Tyrell Taylor shooting has not been covered by the corporate press.

The only mention of the occurrence can be seen in the SF Bayview Precinct newsletter as followed:

"Aggravated Assault On Police Officer With A Gun 62 Northridge
10:34 a.m.
Bayview Officers were involved in a shooting when a subject attempted to
shoot them with a rifle. This is an open investigation involving an officer
involved shooting and I can not give any more particulars regarding the
incident. "

However, no rifle was found at the scene.

In the era of homeland security and New Orleans genocide, the war on Blacks and the Poor is exacerbating in SF.

The snake of SFPD brutality is no longer rattling, but striking full force...

SF Bayview Hunters Point endangered community is organizing to do copwatch in the Hood and gear up for action, by any peaceful means necessary, to PROTECT AND SERVE EACH OTHER!

Tyrell's case is heard tomorrow morning
Wed 9-14
room # 201
9am
Hall of Injustice
850 Bryant SF.

Tyrell still has 4 bullets in his body that cannot be extracted without endangering his life. He is being profiled as a "Cop Killer"...

Corrections: he just turned 18, this is why he is in adult custody instred of Juvie, and the shooting happened on Northridge, not Harbor Road.
