Queer punks THE DEAD BETTIES (http://www.thedeadbetties.com), one of NYC's most acclaimed and iconoclastic punk bands--bringing to mind Sonic Youth crossed with Hole's most ravaged B-sides--and SUGARPUSS (http://www.sugarpuss.net), all-girl queer metalcore trio from Los Angeles fresh off of this year's Warped Tour, descend on Thee Parkside on Thurs, Sept. 22nd for their only Bay Area show.
