NO FAKE HEALTH PROGRAMS!
Make Business Pay!
We demand Equality!

The SF Chamber of Commerce is holding an “Urban Health Care” Conference to re-define “the uninsured” as yuppies without health coverage. SF has over 130,000 uninsured, mostly working and poor. We are demanding that medium and large business insure all their workers, but the Chamber wants to cover only high-paid technical and skilled employees of the “new” SF. According to their website, the conference will "Develop a pilot partnership project to improve cost, quality, and service levels for *a defined segment of the working uninsured.*" http://www.sfchamber.com/health/profile.html

The Chamber's plan would leave the majority of the City's uninsured dependent on the Department of Public Health, which is already cut to the bone because of the Chamber's work of reducing business taxes to starvation levels.

Make business pay! Everyone needs and deserves healthcare! Comprehensive, affordable coverage, with the same benefits and costs for everyone. Single Payer.
