The pen is mightier than the sword and books are an essential aspect of the green revolution. Many of us have a book inside us but find the task of beginning and maintaining the writing process daunting. This class is designed to lead the participant through the four stages of actualizing their book; conception and approach to writing, organizing the material, choosing a publisher and preparing a publishers packet and marketing. We will approach the writing of your book as a process rather than simply a means to a product by exercises that allow the subject matter to emerge from your deepest passion, using the self discipline of writing as a centering process, getting organized in order to simplify the process and presenting your material, or marketing, with confidence and integrity. $100. Dates: Mondays 9/26, 10/3, 10/10, 10/17, Information: (707) 996-4945 or email at jacquelinek@vom.com |
