The Sunol Country Festival, Sat. Oct. 1, 10am-4pm, in the park on Main St., Sunol. This is a fun-filled, family day in small-town fashion. Bluegrass music by Donner Mountain Boys; Rhythm & Blues by Nightmare on Bourbon St.; BBQ tri-tip sandwiches, burgers & dogs for the kids; arts & crafts booths, wine, beer, $1,000 cash prize raffle drawing; silent auction with unique and valuable items; kids play area with sack-races, balloon tosses, face-painting, pet parade, horse-back rides, and lots more. Free admission and parking.
