Reports of rogue New Orleans police

on TV this morning, I saw this video shot over and over of groups of 4 men driving golf carts through New Orleans but the reporters spoke about unrelated things and never described what they were showing

caucasian, they were fully decked out, head to toe in camoflage and appeared to have automatic weapons. two were in front, driving, and two were standing in back at the ready resting their guns on cloth roof of golf cart.

these carts were following a cop car, so you might assume they were official, possibly military or guard. but authorities such as those don't use golf carts to get around after natural disasters, do they? and they had facial hair and their hair seemed a bit scraggly for military types. the more I saw these people in these carts, the less they looked like real military and the more worried I became.

I have seen no reports of who these people are. I can find nothing on the web. I am afraid they are local militia types going "hunting" if you know what I mean under the false rubric of "keeping order"

I knew those creeps were up to no good. how many people have they killed?

maybe this is part of why the authorities put the fear of god into reporters not to be there at night, so there would be no witnesses to the crimes of these gangs and maybe the guard as well. who knows how long it will be before bodies are pulled from the water? and by then evidence of murders might be gone

this is sick and authorities should stop it, but I suspect they just turn the other way if they do not participate. we know that the local police were down with the golf cart posses

The NOPD is more currupt now than ever. Individuals who are picked up for curfew voliations are being beaten and sprayed with mace AFTER they are handcuffed. The NOPD then take them to a tempary military facility and beat them some more! After the beating are finished they are transferred to the Bus/train station on Loyola and are kept there until a bond hearing. Post bond hearing, they are transferred to Hunt Prision for a CURFEW voliation which is a misdemeanor! The individuals clothes are burned and they are left with nothing. After being at Hunt for approximately 12 hours they are finally allowed a phone call. Which in the case I speak of was 36 hours! When trying to bond an individual you run in to all new sorts of new issues. The Bail Bonds folks are being stiff armed and told that theersons that they are looking for are not there or can't be found...Therefore it is takining 3-5 days to simply bond an individaul who had their bond hearing 3 days earlier!! I am very appaled at the BS the NOPD is pulling and would like some suggestions on where to go from here..
