This year is the 10th National Day of Protest to Stop Police Brutality, Repression,
and Criminalization of Generation.

The bay area event for October 22nd, Nationl day of protest will take place in San
Jose.

We also will be discussing some of the plans/proposals for mobilizing people around
the trial of Michael Walker, killer of Rudy Cardenas, Sept 26th.. There will also be updates
on other families' cases.

This year the national day of protest will be in San Jose—bring your ideas, and help
strategize to help make this a powerful, and determined action that will strengthen
the struggle to stop police brutality, repression and the criminalization of a generation.

- Updates on different family cases

Cardenas family wants to discuss plans proposals to mobilize for protests, cuz
the trial of Walker begins Sept 26th.

- Plan for rally (speakers, location, culture)

- Set up committees

committees include

Outreach- to organizations, broad community outreach, students

Press work:

Stolen Lives Walls- make more walls

Logistics- permits, sound system, monitors, decorations, food, etc

Fundraising- need money for just about everything! We will have the Stolen Lives Walls and a table at the Power to the Peaceful Festival on September 10th. http://www.bayarea1022.org
