Surveillance cameras in SF a watchfull Eye

by jdoeser
San Francisco is a crime burdened city with too few Police Officers and not enough unbiased eyes watching.
The need for street mounted surveillance cameras in this town has never been more evident.
I think the need for more street mounted surveillance cameras in this town has never been more evident. It would aid in keeping both sides fair and balanced with their actions. In the times we live in it is imperative to have adequate safeguards for the community. When I look back in time to a simpler period it was easier for law enforcement and the community to keep on eye out on the streets. With today's population and mobility cameras could aid both police and the citizen of San Francisco.

I'm writing this message in a public for to hear both the people that are for and against a community camera project. Additionally I implore the mayor of San Francisco to seriously look at the idea of having a public camera policing effort.

As we all know there's been some incidents that ... happen in front of the cameras, and we were able to go back and ... really get to the truth of the matter. It has helped on conflicting stories.

We want safe streets. That is the ultimate goal, citizens, teachers, as well as parents, want for children and all adults to be safe in this city.
We are 100% volunteer and depend on your participation to sustain our efforts!
