What: The San Francisco Chronicle Forum in partnership with the World Affairs Council presents " Women in Conflict Zones: Afghanistan, Bosnia and Iraq "
Event: These two women, one a professional journalist in Afghanistan and the other a diplomat and educator with extensive experience in Bosnia, will discuss their professional experiences in these regions ravaged by war, and their observations on women as a resource for peace-building not only in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq, but also all over the world. Ms. Gannon is author of I Is For Infidel: From Holy War to Holy Terror: 18 Years Inside Afghanistan, and Ambassador Hunt is author of This Was Not Our War: Bosnian Women Reclaiming Peace.
