** Fri. 8/19 - Pam Africa in SF!**

To all Supporters of Mumia Abu-Jamal,

Pam Africa, leader of the International Concerned Family and Friends of
Mumia Abu-Jamal, will be here from Philadelphia speaking at the Socialist
Action Bookstore on Friday, August 19 at 7:30 pm. The forum is jointly
sponsored by the Mobilization to Free Mumia Abu-Jamal, the National
Lawyer's Guild Bay Area Chapter and Socialist Action Bookstore.

The forum will be followed by a wine and cheese reception with Pam Africa
and informal discussion.

Pam will joined at the speakers podium by Laura Herrera and Jeff Mackler,
Co-coordinators of the Northern California based Mobilization to Free Mumia
Abu-Jamal.

The speakers will stress the immediate danger of execution that Mumia faces
today in the face of continuing efforts by the State of Pennsylvania to
take his life. Mumia, according to his attorney Robert R. Bryan, is just
one decision away from execution by lethal injection.

The forum will also review promising new legal developments that could flow
from recent decisions of the U.S. Supreme Court in the Thomas Miller-El
case. Application of the Miller-El decision to Mumia's case may result in a
new trial, an eventuality that will once again bring Mumia's case to center
stage in U.S. and world politics. This is a forum you won't want to miss.

Admission: $3-$5 sliding scale.
