EXTRA! EXTRA!

SF Bay Area Independent Media Center’s newspaper, Fault Lines, Shakes the Bay!

Celebrate one year of making independent media with the Bay Area’s best radical community newspaper- Fault Lines!

The Fault Lines collective invites you to the ABCO art space in West Oakland on August 13th for a night filled with music, fun, delicious drinks and dancing. Make sure you bring your friends- this party is NOT to be missed!

Our eclectic birthday jam promises to shake the bay (and your booty) with local rockers GHENGIS KHAN, tongue-in-cheek punks INSTANT ASSHOLE, plus off-the-hinges live hip-hop from The AWAKE CLIQUE, MEGABUSIVE and down-tempo beats and vocals provided by SF’s MS. BROWN. Even Fault Lines staffers themselves will DJ naughty house and techno beatz into the A.M. to keep the dance floor going.

Best of all, while you are having the time of your life, you will also be helping Fault Lines. Your support at this event will help Fault Lines continue to print alternative news and viewpoints from the SF bay and around the world, and ensure that everybody, from amateurs to pros, can make media!

Head over to the ABCo artspace in West Oakland for live music, dancing & a full bar. $3-$10, sliding scale, no one turned away for lack of funds. 3135 Filbert St, one block west of San Pablo & 32nd streets. Doors at 8 p.m.
