Calming “Your” First Day of School Jitters

At the beginning of the school year, almost all LGBT parents face the
same
fears: How will my child’s teacher respond to our family? Is the
teacher
equipped and ready to embrace LGBT families in their curriculum? Will
I
need to cross out mother or father on the school forms and put “parent”
AGAIN? Join us for a discussion about how to start the school year
stress-free, and how to talk to your school, teacher, other parents,
and
your children’s friends about your family structure.
