Supreme Court Town Hall Meeting & March

Wednesday, August 3rd, 6 PM

Californians Need to Know - No Rubber Stamp

President Bush recently nominated John Roberts to replace Justice Sandra Day O'Connor on the Supreme Court. Roberts' limited record raises serious concerns about his views on crucial legal and constitutional rights such as women's health and privacy, protection of the environment, and our civil rights and liberties. Come to the Town Hall Meeting to learn about Roberts and his potential impact on the Supreme Court and Californians.

Learn what you can do to make sure Roberts gets the Senate's toughest job interview.

After the Town Hall, join us for a "No Rubber Stamp" march to the Civic Center. We'll be led by nine "Supreme Court judges" in black robes. (Bring your own rubber stamp!)
