Yesterday Judge Damrell postponed Bryan Epis' sentencing hearing to
November 28. (It was previously scheduled for August 1.) Please let
the people on your mailing lists know so they don't show up in
Sacramento on the 1st.

Yesterday Judge Damrell postponed Bryan Epis' sentencing hearing to

the people on your mailing lists know so they don't show up in
Sacramento on the 1st.
The postponement was the result of my efforts to get a little more
time to brief the complex legal issues in the case. When I asked
AUSA Wong for his consent, he ended up asking that we stretch it out
much further than I was requesting.
This will give us more time to prepare. And Bryan will be able to
enjoy his summer before having to get ready emotionally for the
fateful day when he might once again lose his freedom.
We've received a lot of good letters of support from your supporters.
Thanks so much for spreading the word! And keep those cards and
letters coming in!

here is an interview with Bryan Epis, giving a background on his court
case.
At the end of the interview, he personally asks that patients,
caregivers, and other people write to the judge, asking him to impose
the minimum sentence. I don't think there are any pre-written letters
for this one. But it has all of the other info, address, etc.
