Arcata City Council declares "No Confidence" in validity of national elections
the Arcata City Council has adopted a resolution declaring that the City of Arcata has no confidence in the fairness of the recent National Elections.
With 3 votes for and 2 against, the pioneering City Council of Arcata has set an example for other progressive cities to follow by adopting a resolution denouncing the widespread fraud in the 2004 elections, such as non-verifiable computer voting , and demanding Democratization of National , State and local elections, for example using proportional representation , like many European parliaments do. Councilmembers vowed to persue democratization efforts at the local level, in hope of restoring power to the American citizens.

Why did the Council wait so long after the elction to pass this resolution? Was their any particular reason for it to have been put forward now?
they were waiting for YOU to do something, but sadly the national media did not report your actions, at which point they realized that they had to do something
