Please come and participate in our regular (fourth Monday of every month) gathering dedicated to conversations addressing critical issues related to feminism (past, present and future), and to sex, gender, and gender identity oppression. Our hope is to form an inclusive coalition that is respectful of multiple locations and committed to ongoing dialogue. Please invite friends and allies. All sexes, genders, gender identities, and gender expressions are welcome. This event is wheelchair accessible.
History of Voices in Motion: On International Women’s Day, 2005 we launched Voices in Motion: Conversations Across a Feminist Landscape with a gathering that brought together panelists and participants from multiple locations: across continents and classes; spanning sexualities, generations and cultures; with varied gender identities, ethnic identities, and races, but with one reason to come together: to begin a conversation about who we are, where we want to go, and how to get there.
For more information, see our Weekend BA and Weekday Evening MA Activism & Social Change Emphasis Degree Program web site, http://www.newcollege.edu/activismchange or the Women's Spirituality web site, http://www.newcollege.edu/womenspirituality.
