BioDemocracy plea for legal support $!!!
While the events of the Biodemocracy 2005 mobilization are now behind us and everyone is out of jail, there is still a great deal of work to be done and help is needed.
Dearest friends and fighters of the good fight,
While the events of the Biodemocracy 2005 mobilization are now behind us and everyone is out of jail, there is still a great deal of work to be done and help is needed. Following the arrests, many people called upon as many resources as they could and dug deep into their own pockets, so that our friends and fellow activists could be freed from jail as quickly as possible. In about 48 hours, we raised $30,000 in bail money and got everyone out. Many folks fronted just about all they had and they need to be paid back. At the moment, this financial support is one of our biggest priorities, as well as raising money for the defendants' upcoming expenses, such as travel costs and court fees.
Please help and donate whatever you can. Also, please keep in mind that, while we need as much as we can get, no amount is too small to bother with. It all counts.
There are two ways to donate:
1.personal check made out to Dominic DiMauro
mail checks to: Dominic DiMauro
1926 Bainbridge Street, apt.3F
Philadelphia, PA 19146
2.with debit or credit card, donate to our paypal account in Dominic's name and email address:
meniguccio [at] lycos.com
Just got to http://www.paypal.com and register for a free account. This will make it possible for you to electronically donate.
For anyone who might be asking,"Who is this clown and why should I trust him with my dough?" Dominic is one of the organizers of Biodemocracy 2005 and plenty of folks in and around Philadelphia will vouch for him.
So hurry! Court dates are fast approaching.
Thanks so much for your time and consideration.
In Solidarity,
BioDemocracy Legal
