This man tried to emigrate from Nigeria to Great Britain because he fears for his life.

He is scheduled to be deported tonight at 10pm UK time (2pm West Coast time). To help him, call the number(s) listed in the recording before then. Virgin customer service sounds best to me. Esp. if you have airline labor union info.

This was bus steward (organizer) Duncan speaking on the bus this morning on the way to the Dungavel prison, where asylum seekers are held while their cases are pending. This piece was recorded before the one that you can find above.

I found the story of this prison to be remarkably similar to what happens to people who try to immigrate to the US. More about that later. The detainees were all taken out for the week *just in case the protest should inspire anyone to climb the 20 foot fence and hop over the razor wire?).
